FiniteHost Mail is the webmail for every FiniteHost mailbox. It runs in any modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install. This guide signs in as priya@acme.in.

Before you start#

  • The mailbox exists and you have its password (Email accounts).
  • You do not need the domain's DNS to be set up to sign in. You need it to receive mail from outside.

  1. Open https://webmail.finitehost.com. You can also click Open webmail next to a mailbox in the panel.
  2. In Email, type the full address: priya@acme.in.
  3. In Password, paste the mailbox password. Click the eye icon to check what you pasted.
  4. Leave Authenticator code empty unless you have turned on two-step sign-in (see below).
  5. Click Sign in (or press Enter).
The sign-in page at webmail.finitehost.com.

Your inbox opens. The first time, a short tour points out the main areas; you can replay it later from Tips & tours in the sidebar. Next, read the Webmail guide for a tour of the screen.

With two-step sign-in (authenticator code)#

If you have turned on two-factor authentication in webmail (Security and privacy):

  1. Enter your address and password as above.
  2. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and similar) and find the entry named FiniteHost Mail with your address (entries added before 28 October 2026 are named FiniteMail).
  3. Type the current 6-digit code into Authenticator code and click Sign in.

If you forget to enter it, webmail asks for it after the password check. Codes change every 30 seconds; if one is rejected, wait for the next.

How long you stay signed in#

  • You stay signed in while you use webmail. After 12 hours without activity, webmail asks you to sign in again.
  • If your session ends while you are writing, the text you typed is kept in your browser and offered back when you open Compose again.
  • Signing in on a second device does not sign you out on the first.

Sign out#

  1. Click your avatar (the circle with your initial, top right) → Manage profile.
  2. Click Logout at the bottom of the profile panel.

Always sign out on a shared or public computer, and do not let the browser save the password there.

Forgot the password?#

The Forgot password? link on the sign-in page sends you to the panel. Mailbox passwords are made by the plan owner in the panel: Email → Email accounts → New password (Email accounts). If you are not the plan owner, ask the person who manages your company's FiniteHost account.
